This Privacy Policy describes how Savings Goal Tracker ("we", "our", or "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Your use of the App is also governed by our Terms of Service.

The App allows you to create savings goals and record transactions. This data, including goal names, target amounts, saved amounts, transaction notes, and target dates, is created entirely by you. We do not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of any financial data you enter. This data is stored locally on your device.

1.2 Locally Stored Data

The App stores the following data on your device:

• Savings goals and transaction records
• User preferences (language, date format, display settings, appearance, sort preferences)
• Widget configuration data
• Notification preferences

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above for the following purposes:

• Storing and displaying your savings goals and transactions
• Sending local deadline reminder notifications (if you enable them)
• Displaying advertisements to support free access to the App
• Processing one-time ad removal purchases through the Apple App Store

3. Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services that may independently collect data according to their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the data practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies:

• Google AdMob
• Firebase Analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Apple App Store

We display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, usage data, and approximate location to serve ads. Users who make the optional one-time ad removal purchase do not see advertisements.

If you choose to enable them, we use Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage patterns and Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash and error reports for improving app stability. These services may collect device information, operating system version, and app interaction data. No personally identifiable information is intentionally sent to these services by us.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to third parties for their own purposes.

Data may be processed by third parties only in the following circumstances:

• Advertising: Google AdMob may collect device and usage data as described in Section 3.
• Analytics and Crash Reporting: Firebase may receive usage, crash, and error data as described in Section 3.
• Purchases: The Apple App Store processes one-time ad removal purchases. We receive only the purchase status; payment details are handled entirely by Apple.

5. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data and shall not be held liable for any unauthorized access, data loss, or breach resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Locally stored data on your device is subject to the security measures provided by your device's operating system.

6. Data Retention

Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it through the App or uninstall the App.

Data collected by third-party services (Firebase, AdMob) is retained according to their respective retention policies.

7. Your Choices

• Notifications: You can enable or disable deadline reminder notifications through the App settings or your device settings. Notifications are generated locally on your device; we do not send push notifications.
• Ads: You can manage ad privacy choices through the App when available or make a one-time purchase to remove advertisements.
• Analytics and Crash Reporting: You can separately enable or disable Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics through the App settings.
• Data Export and Import: You can export and import your data as a local JSON file through the App.
• Local Data: You can delete your data through the App. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
